Animated NFT Movie Attracts Renowned Singers and Musicians

This level of success has savvy tech-focused entrepreneurs trying to claim their own slice of the market, resulting in them thinking outside of the usual social media marketing to gain customer attention.

One of these up-and-coming NFT collections is Doodles. While the designs are fun and light-hearted, with a distinctive pastel colour pallet, they are not lacking in market value. The most expensive piece, Doodle #8704, will cost you an astonishing 85 Ethereum tokens ($261,120 at the time of writing) on the OpenSea collectables marketplace.

The team behind Doodles is looking to mainstream media tactics to promote their niche product. Jordan Castro, the Doodle co-founder, explained that the company is looking to shrug off the "NFT project " label and establish itself as a "leading media franchise".

One of their latest initiatives to achieve their dream of becoming a media franchise was the announcement of an animated film based on the characters and world that underpin the Doodle world. The film, titled “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” is a collaborative storytelling effort between Doodle and producer and musician Pharrell Williams. The project also boasts the voice acting and musical talents of world-famous rapper Lil Wayne and singer Coi Leray. It was announced that Lil Wayne will play Captain Stoke while Leray will voice Deysi.

As with any NFT project, supporters of the upcoming Summer release will also be eligible to receive "exclusive merchandise and digital collecting opportunities."
