The 2026 World Cup is set to be the largest in history. Bet365 is marking the occasion with its free-to-play WC26 Tournament Challenge, plus live streaming, daily rewards, and football-themed promos across the tournament.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is getting closer, and it’s shaping up to be a landmark moment for global football. For the first time, the tournament will feature 48 teams competing across 104 matches, hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The scale alone makes it the biggest World Cup ever staged, and brings a global feel to an already massive event.
Popular gambling provider Bet365 has launched a series of World Cup-focused features, with the WC26 Tournament Challenge sitting right at the heart of the campaign.
It allows punters to predict the outcomes of selected matches across the tournament. Each correct prediction earns points, but not in a simple win-or-lose format. Instead, points are assigned based on the selection's odds, meaning smart underdog picks can be just as valuable as safer selections.
The competition is split into five stages, each with its own leaderboard and prize pool. These include the early matchdays, group stage action, knockout rounds, and the final.
Each stage offers a top prize of £50,000, and because players can continue entering each round, it’s possible to win multiple times across the tournament. In total, that puts the potential winnings at up to £250,000 for consistent top performers.
It’s free to enter, and all players need to do is log in, head to the free games section, and submit their predictions before kick-off. To keep things simple, picks can also be changed up until matches begin.
The Tournament Challenge is not only about global competition; the casino and betting provider has also added a more personal layer to the experience with “Your Leagues”.
The feature allows players to create private groups and invite friends, family, or colleagues using a unique league code. Instead of competing only on global leaderboards, users can track how their predictions stack up against those of people they actually know.
It’s a simple addition that adds a bit of friendly rivalry to the mix. Moreover, it reveals just how much fans are already enjoying football, debating results, and testing predictions long before kick-off.
While the Tournament Challenge is the main attraction, Bet365 is backing it up with a wide range of World Cup promotions.
Live streaming will be available in selected regions, allowing customers to watch matches directly on the platform while tracking their predictions and any active bets.
Daily Matchday Reveals also form part of the campaign. These randomised rewards may include boosted odds, bet-and-get offers, money-back specials, safety nets, and other surprise promotions.
Some regions will also see enhanced Super Boost offers during the tournament window.
Features like Early Payout, Extra Time settlement, and Sub On Play On give users more flexibility during live matches, while football-themed additions tied to jackpot-style games bring extra incentives linked to sports activity.
Altogether, these features reflect Bet365’s broader campaign message of “more offers than ever before,” designed to keep fans engaged throughout the tournament rather than just at match kick-off.
With the World Cup expanding into its biggest format yet, Bet365’s approach leans heavily into participation and interaction. Whether it is making free predictions, competing against friends, following leaderboard movements, or taking advantage of generous promotions, there is something to keep supporters engaged from the group stage to the final.
