Bottoms up! Enjoy Beer and Slots with Lucky Oktoberfest

Every year, the world joins in to celebrate the German beer festival, called Oktoberfest. Any reason to have a cold one with the mates, right?  Traditionally, the festival runs in October every year, but Red Tiger Gaming has got off to an early start, granting you practice time ahead of the season.

Lucky Oktoberfest keeps you entertained on-screen with frothy features, including a symbol transformation modifier, as well as a free spin bonus round with growing multipliers and extra spins. If you are really lucky, you could walk away with up to 5,000x your stake and more, on a single spin of the reels.

 One Beer-filled Bonanza

Head down to the beer hall to immerse yourself in the beer culture of Germany. While the barman turns the taps, you should roll the reels on your mobile (or desktop) and seek out those lucky rewards.

The game reels are placed on a backdrop of a beer hall, where you can observe the silhouettes of the crowd as they socialise together. The accordion-based German music keeps a tune in the background, while the reel set dominates the foreground.

The set is filled with thematic symbols, including a German Shield/coat of arms, a beer keg, piano accordion, traditional green hat, bagel, and four card suit symbols (spades, clubs, diamonds, and hearts), each filled up with a different beer blend.

There is no Wild symbol in the game, but there are some special symbols to look out for in the game, such as the free spin icon, the Bier Mug, Helga (the barmaid), and Hans (the brewmaster).

 Brew Your Own Luck

The game is played over 5 reels with 3 rows of symbols per reel. This affords 10 paylines to land wins over. Wins are counted if you manage to land 3 or more matching symbols over a single payline on adjacent reels, from the leftmost reel to the right, on the same spin. The reward depends on the symbol value and the value of your stake at the time of spinning. Your stake can be set to between €0.20 and €20 per round. If all the variable factors are in your favour, you could be looking at wins in excess of 5,000x, as stated above.

The game does offer both a Turbo spin option, to speed up the gameplay; as well as an Auto Play function, for those who want the machine to do all the playing for them. You can set the game to spin between 10 and 100 consecutive spins for you while adhering to your loss limit adjustment, stopping if you lose that much. Your loss limit can be set to as low as €200.

✓Transforming Symbols

The Bier Mug feature has a way of producing guaranteed wins. If a Bier Mug lands on reel 1 and 5 simultaneously, the two glasses will toast and random reels will begin to fill up with bier. All covered symbols will turn into one matching random game symbol type and dish out wins over the lines in accordance with the paytable.

✓Free Spins

The Free Spin symbols are key to triggering this round. You will need to land 3 symbols over reels 1, 3, and 5 to be successful. Each time only one or two symbols land, they will stay sticky on the reels for another spin, in hopes of triggering the third symbol on the next roll.

Once triggered, you will receive 10 free spins, but this is not all – you may be able to add multipliers and extra free spins into this downing session, too.

Should Hans land on the reels during the feature, along with either a Bier Mug or Helga, then he will down a Mug of beer, increasing the multiplier as he chugs away. If Helga arrives on the reels with either the beer mug or Hans, she will down a beer and add extra free spins to the feature as she chugs away. Get these two drinking together and your luck will most definitely peak.

 Cheers!

We realise that there are a number of Oktoberfest games out there, but Red Tiger’s games are always worth trying. The high variance offers the potential for very high wins, even though you may have to wait for them. Usually, the free spin round will do the trick for you.
