GiG Launches Online Casino in New Zealand with SkyCity

After signing a partnership deal in May of 2019, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has launched a brand-new online casino in conjunction with SkyCity Entertainment Limited. 

The New Zealand gambling market is growing from strength to strength as players search for new and exciting ways to experience casino games. In fact, the total gambling market is estimated to be worth €1.6 billion as of 2019. 

That market is set to continue to grow, especially with the new addition of the GiG online casino up and running. 

 GiG and SkyCity Agreement 

In the agreement signed by both companies, it was decided that a fully-managed online casino solution (including the gambling license) would be provided by GiG. 

Commenting on behalf of SkyCity regarding the new casino in the works is CEO, Graeme Stephens. “This is an exciting day for SkyCity and one we have been working towards for some time alongside SkyCity Malta and our partner GiG.”
