This feature offers ground-breaking new levels of paylines and is set to become a mainstay of their titles thought 2020 and beyond.
Artistic Aztec Aesthetic
Temple Stacks Splitz is a lost civilisation slot set in a super-stylised version of an ancient Aztec temple. The background is filled with giant lush palm leaves and the reels are nestled within a chunky stone and metal temple with protective animal totems carved into the pillars.
The games 5 reels are filled with chunky carved symbols of iconic South American animals, namely a Snake, Crocodile, Eagle, Lizard and Piranha. Oddly enough these are the games low-value symbols.
The highest paying symbols on the reels of Temple Stacks Splitz are the five-simple square-cut gems. The gems come in various colours denoting their value. The most valuable symbol is the red gem followed by the orange, pink, green and blue in descending order of value.
You will also find a hybrid Free Spin symbol on the reels. When three of the symbol lands on the reels it triggers the free game feature. However, when only 2 land on the reels the symbol will morph, with the centre opening up to reveal the word Wild. At this point, the symbols act as Wilds completing winning paylines for greater payouts.
Splitz Driven Feature Set
Yggdrasil have imbued with 5-reels and monstrous number of paylines of Temple Stacks Splitz with an amazing selection of Aztec-themed designs and engaging gameplay mechanics.
Should you win the favour of the animal spirits you could be rewarded with wins of up to 25,000x your bet! At the games maximum stake of €100 per spin that would see you taking home in excess of €2.5 million on a single spin.
✓Splitz Mystery Stacks
Splitz is an amazing new feature exclusive to Yggdrasil. The feature allows for individual symbols to be split in to as many as 12 smaller symbols per stack which can unlock up to 248,832 ways to win on any given spin – an industry first!
Natalya Ovchinnikova, Product Owner Slots at Yggdrasil, said:
“We are delighted to launch Splitz, an electrifying new mechanic that gives our slot gameplay an exhilarating boost. The feature exemplifies our constant drive for innovation, and we look forward to introducing it to operator partners and players.”
This will make a great new addition to new slot releases and breathe life into existing slots when the Splitz edition is released.
✓Respins
Respins are triggered when you land 2 Free Spin symbols on the reels. The symbols then act as Wilds triggering a free respin of the reels. The only symbols that stay in place for the respin are the two Wild symbols. Landing a third Free Spin on the reels during a respin will trigger the Free Spins feature.
✓Free Spins
To shake things up, when you land 3 or more Free Spin symbols on the reels not only do you get awarded free games, but you also receive a cash reward.
The integration of the Splitz feature with Free Spin is very well handled. Once you’ve unlocked all four levels of potential free games you get to choose your preferred balance between Free Spins and reel Splitz:
The above number of free games is based on triggering the feature with 5 Free Spin symbols on the reels.
Golden Gods Await
Yggdrasil has added another winner to their already world-class selection of video and mobile slots. The design, smooth gameplay and loads of features would be entertaining enough to keep players coming back – the inclusion of their new Splitz feature puts it over the top.
