Taking place during MARE BALTICUM Summit, the inaugural Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards will reward the most deserving companies from the region.
Taking place for the very first time in Lithuania’s capital of Vilnius on May 9, the Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards will be held during the second MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit. The awards’ ceremony aims to honor deserving gaming companies from the region, including operators, service providers, and games and software developers.
Making the Shortlist
The organizers have arranged a process consisting of several steps leading up to the shortlist of nominees in a number of relevant categories. First, the nomination committee gave its suggestions between November 2018 and February 2019. This was followed by the online round of voting where the wider public was able to cast their votes for the companies they found deserving.
The online voting round was completed on March 31, 2019, and five companies from each of the categories (11 for Baltics and 10 for Scandinavia) made it to the final shortlist. From this list, the winner in each category will be selected during a special session taking place during MARE BALTICUM Summit in May.
Competing for Prestigious Rewards
Come May, operators, software providers, and others will be anxiously awaiting final decisions to see if they win in one of the categories they made the shortlist for.
