Crypto gambling and esports fans have much to celebrate, with Bitcoin casino giant Stake.com selecting the Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) for its first-ever esports event partnership. If this new agreement is successful, it could open the door for Stake to dive deeper into esports. This could include seeing them sponsor other events, up-and-coming teams, and even individual influencers.

Stake Steps Into the Esports Arena

Stake has officially entered the esports world as the Exclusive Betting Partner of the CCT. This is Stake’s debut in competitive gaming, and it aims to increase the tournament’s global reach while connecting with a rapidly expanding esports audience.

Featuring top-tier teams such as GamerLegion and paiN Gaming, the tournament will culminate in a Global Final in early 2025, where five of the highest-ranked teams will go head-to-head for the championship.

Why Was CCT The Ideal Partner?

The Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) is a global esports tournament circuit run by the in-game data platform GRID. In its second edition, the CCT hosts 36 online events across four regions, with teams competing to earn points and a spot in the Global Final. Boasting a prize pool of $1.5 million (€1.38 million), the tour draws in some of the world’s best teams, including past winners like GamerLegion, paiN Gaming, and BetBoom Team.

The grand finale will take place at a live LAN event in early 2025, where the top five ranked teams from the regional tournaments will go head-to-head with invited teams.
