Summit Dizzying Heights For Monstrous Wins With 9K Yeti Slot

Yggdrasil’s newest slot offers icy reels and monster-sized rewards. 9K Yeti is a game based on the myth of the abominable snowman. Sight him on the reels to unleash massive rewards. Unlike some other animated versions of this character, who make the beast out to be a friendly fellow, this slot shows you his grizzly true colours, which are anything but nice.

Summit Everest on the reels to lay claim to high variance rewards. Trigger free spins to put yourself in line to take home great wins of up to 9,000x your total stake. At maximum bet this could see you walk away with around €225,000.

Monstrous Sightings

In keeping with the Yggdrasil standard, this game boasts premium quality 3D graphics with engaging sounds to enhance the gameplay.

The ice-crusted reels are placed on the backdrop of one of Everest’s base camps, with the towering mountain in the background. You are in for a cold night, but perhaps some hot wins will give you some respite. The howling wind accompanied by eerie Eastern tunes do little to relax your mood but do well to keep you in suspense of Yeti sightings. The good news is that sightings often pay great dividends.

All focus should be on the reels, where the action is ever rolling. The character icons tell the story well. The high paying icons include a Yeti, a Mountain explorer, a Burka Guide, Thermal Tent, Ice Pick, and Climbing Ropes. All lower pays are represented by card deck symbols (10 to Ace).

The game Wild is the Mount Everest icon. This symbol has the power to substitute for all other icons, save the Yeti Footprint Scatter symbol, which is a key figure in triggering the main feature.

Abominable Facts and Features

9K Yeti is played over 6 reels with 4 symbols on each column. Instead of utilising set paylines, the game maker employs an all ways pay engine, offering up to 4,096 ways to win. Merely land three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, to reap instant rewards, in accordance with the paytable. All wins are multiplied by your current stake, which can be set to anywhere between €0.10 and €25 per spin.

For extended play, make the AutoPlay tool function your best friend. You can set the machine to roll between 10 and 100 consecutive icy spins for you. Be sure to make use of the advanced settings, such as the win and loss limits, so that the mechanic knows when to stop spinning.

✓Snowstorm Free Spins

The height of intensity is realised on the reels when you come across the footprints of the Yeti. 3, 4, 5, or 6 sets of footprints will trigger either 8, 15, 40, or 88 free spins on the reels. But that is not all, landing further scatters while in play can retrigger up to 50 extra free spins each time, with a maximum of 880 free spins available to those who are extremely lucky.

✓Snowstorm Feature

During the main feature, if you land a Fierce Yeti on the reels together with an Everest Wild symbol, what was a losing spin will be turned into a winning one, as the symbols reshuffle to produce a valid winning combination.

Set Your Sights On The Summit

With a higher than average RTP of 97% and a jackpot prize of just over 9,000x bet, 9K Yeti sure does have great rewards potential. Fortunately, the premium visuals and sounds match up to the hype around the features, to produce a well-rounded monster of a slot game.

Be aware of the high variance. While loads of spins may pass without significant wins, the tide changes after a while to share the wealth out, especially when you manage to trigger the main free spin feature.
