The Truth About Why Gambling Systems Will Never Make You Rich
By GamblersPick Apr 18, 2020There will always be people who think they've got gambling all figured out. Don't waste your time and money on these ineffective gambling systems. When people want to get away from it all and forget their day-to-day stress, they sometimes visit a casino or go online to gamble their worries away. Many people gamble for the excitement of knowing they may be able to hit big-ticket winnings. Some people gamble because they think they have figured out the gambling systems in place, so it's only a matter of time before they hit it big.
The hard truth is no matter what your gambling system is, you rarely become rich from using it. In almost all cases, gambling systems are ineffective and a waste of time, effort, and money. Reach on to learn more about how gambling systems are ineffective strategies that seldom lead to hitting the lucrative payout you want or need.
Gambling Systems
It's always best to start at the beginning when dealing with gambling systems. That way, you understand more about what it is and what it means. Gamblings systems have been around every since gambling became legalized.
Gambling systems are even used by some well-known gamblers who swear by their success. The trick is trying to find out what gambling systems have worked because most of these detailed strategies never make it out into the general media. If there are any gamblers out there who have found a gambling strategy system that works, they aren't sharing.
There are strategy guides on various gambling websites, and not one of them works in the long-term. In principle, gambling strategies are when you use a plan of action to achieve a goal. A gambling system gives you a set of procedures through an organized method to achieve that goal.
The problem comes in when you're trying to use strategies or systems because there is no consistent method or principle that always works. Yet people still cling to the illusion that there's a right or wrong gambling system they can use that will improve their chances of winning.
Betting Strategies
Just because there are no hard and fast gambling systems that work every time in improving your chances of winning doesn't mean there are not some useful tips you can deploy that may help. For instance, in scratch-off cards, The Singleton Method was discovered by Mohan Srivastava, a Canadian statistician in 2003. His helpful tip is with individual scratch cards you can know, which is a winner or loser by looking at the layout or patterns on the tickets.
Then there’s the Martingale Strategy, which is beautiful in theory. In mathematical terms, it works every time. The strategy needs you to double your bets until you win.
However, if at any point you're limited by not having enough money to double your bets every time, the Martingale Strategy falls apart and doesn't work practically or in theory. If you have enough money to keep doubling your bets every time in any game your playing, it still won’t work for you. Most people can't because it requires a substantial bankroll to implement successfully.
Even if you have a large bankroll, live, and online casinos have maximum betting limits. That means a table's betting limit prevents you from doing this repeatedly, whether you’re winning or not.
Roulette Betting System
The Roulette Betting System is also known as the Labouchere System. This system has the player choosing what win amount they want to win by the end of their game. The win amount is written down in a sequence of numbers in order, so it totals up to the pre-determined win amount.
Then the player bets an amount that equals the first and last number added together in sequence. If that bet is successful, the player moves on to the next two numbers added together. If your bet is unsuccessful, you add the amount of your bet to the end of the sequence of numbers.
You once again bet on the added total from the first and last numbers. In theory, you have a 33.34% chance of winning by going through every number on your list and implementing this strategy. The problem comes in when a player is dealing with a limited bankroll.
If a player doesn't have an unlimited bankroll, there can be many losses, and each of them requires the player to start again. They start again with a new sequence of first and last numbers added together. That means they need more money every time they start over, which isn't at all realistic.
Mythbusters for Gambling Systems
Almost every gambling strategy or system you've read about or tried is part of an ongoing myth about gambling. Many times you'll hear or read about people touting these myths but often they are just stories they've heard from someone else. Most of the stories being spread are being touted by people who just want to feel more self-important or knowledgeable about gambling.
You must understand that almost every gambling system once you know how they work is easily debunked or almost impossible to implement. Gambling lends itself to fake news and fraud, so it's crucial that if you play the games, you gamble smart. You need to remember that gambling is inherently risky, so don't be enticed by someone who tells you they can help you win.
If someone comes to you stating they can help you win if you pay for their excellent gambling strategies, you need to be very skeptical. In almost all cases, they're raking in your fee with other wanna be gambling winners, so they make money no matter what while they watch you lose.
Gambling System Facts
Now that you know the details of why debunking gambling systems is rather easy to do, it's beneficial to know the following gambling facts. When you hear the term house edge, it means the house is expected to win based on a percentage value. An excellent example if the house edge is 7%, then the casino will win an average of $7 for every $100 you bet.
Many casinos encourage you to believe in the gambler's fallacy. The gambler's fallacy is best explained by the game Roulette. If red is landed on twenty times in a row, many gamblers will hedge their bet on black assuming black has to come up because it's overdue. In truth, there's no relationship between how many times the dice lands on red and what color will come up next.
The number of possibilities doesn't change just because it happened before. Gambling is meant to be enjoyed with its exciting and vibrant games that are exciting and removed from your day-to-day life. If that's not the definition of gambling fun and excitement and why you do it, perhaps it should be.
