About National Gaming Board Uganda
The National Gaming Board of Uganda was founded as part of the Lotteries and Gaming Act, which came into power in Uganda in 2016. Since then, the regulator received a mandate to regulate and enforce this law upon any gaming institutions who would legally provide players with gaming inside the country. The body quickly got to work and has already managed to license several dozen casinos and sports betting sites, with many other operators still in the process of receiving their licenses.
