The world's premier streaming platform, Netflix, is adding to the culinary fare Vegas has to offer by opening a restaurant at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

Netflix Set to Open Restaurant in Vegas with MGM Grand

Cleverly called Netflix Bites Vegas, the restaurant is all set to open its doors to fans of the streaming platform’s entertaining content and its delectable treats.

Inspired by some of the platform’s most prolific shows, from Stranger Things to Bridgerton, the company intends to entice patrons with a combination of excellent service, fabulous food and an entertaining cinematic experience.

Fans of the 80s-inspired Stranger Things series can dig into the following themed menu items:

• Eleven’s Feast: A massive stack of hot waffles dripping with golden syrup topped with crispy bacon strips and deep-fried chicken will land on your plate.
• Stranger Wings: Fresh off the grill, grab these tasty wings in either buffalo sauce, lemon-pepper dry rub, or BBQ sauce with blue cheese dressing on the side.
• Surfer Boy Pizza: Take your pick of 3 toppings based on the show: Hellfire Honey, Plain Jane Cheese and Barbecue Demochicken!

If Stranger Things isn’t to your taste, Netflix Bites will offer a diverse menu featuring dishes and drinks that pay homage to several fan-favourite shows and will include some of the following tasty treats and delightful drink highlights:

• One Piece Grand Line Showboat: A shareable sushi platter prepared from the finest ingredients inspired by the popular Netflix show ‘One Piece’.
• Red Bite, Green Bite: A dish inspired by “Squid Game,” where diners spin a wheel to determine their selection featuring fried chicken with various dipping sauces.
• Bridgerton Regency Tea: A three-tiered tea service featuring sandwiches, scones and pastries themed on the prominent families of the Ton.
• Too Hot to Handle Bloody Mary: A spicy Bloody Mary crafted with habanero-infused vodka and garnished with cayenne-candied bacon.
• Love Is Blind Cocktail: A customisable drink served in the show’s signature gold chalice, which guests can take home as a keepsake.

Scheduled to open its doors on February 20th, the restaurant will be available for breakfast through to dinner and accommodate various dietary preferences, with a selection of dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. 

Netflix’s Eagerly Awaited Collaboration with MGM

With the imminent launch of the restaurant, there’s a buzz of excitement on the strip, and Josh Simon, VP of Consumer Products at Netflix, reflected on the anticipation by stating:

“It’s Vegas, and part of the reason why we wanted to work with MGM is we can really bring things to life in a bit of fun, over-the-top way. There’s an ability to truly create these storytelling moments in a very compelling way, in Vegas specifically.”

Simon added that MGM felt like a “natural fit”, given they are some of the best restaurant and entertainment operators in the world. 

MGM Grand’s Plan to Further Captivate and Entertain

MGM Grand COO and President Mike Neubecker was similarly pleased with the opportunity to introduce the new culinary experience that Netflix Bites offers patrons and expressed his excitement by saying:

Much like Netflix’s original programming is intended to do, it’s all about offering patrons the opportunity to escape the tedium and enter another world where the themed treats of Netflix’s enticing dining and MGM’s grandiose gambling arena meet.
