Playson Lines Up Support for Ukraine with Charity Tournament

With the celebration of their first decade of successful business, Playson gives back to Ukrainian charities and spreads the love with worthy causes. The leading iGaming supplier launches its charity tournament on 10 August to commemorate 10 years of top-class online casino games.

Titled, the Big Play is On, the tournament involves players from Playson-powered platforms around the globe and contributes to six Ukraine-based community projects. Winners in the 10-hour tournament choose which charity receives donations. 

Playson chose Prytula Foundation, Come Back Alive, Tabletochki, Be Kind, Dobro, and Enjoying Life as worthy recipients of the €10,000 donation.

 Ten Winners and Ten Donations

The company built a diverse employee network comprising talent from Malta, the UK, Ukraine, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Taiwan, and Greece. Considering the current state of affairs and the significant number of Ukrainians in the Playson team, the provider chose the war-stricken area as their point of focus.

The Big Play is On charity tournament kicks off on 10 August at noon and runs until 10 pm (CET) for a 10-hour marathon. Once the tournament ends, the 10 players with the highest scores have the honour of picking which charity receives their share of the donations. The charity includes 10 cheques for €1,000 each. Participants don’t just walk away with a full heart, the top 10 also get $100 Amazon gift cards. Ivshin noted:

The chosen charities focus on a spectrum of community work which includes support for cancer-ridden children, military aid, hospital support in areas severely affected by the war, and support for the elderly.
