Today, we sit down with Nick Barr from Red Rake Gaming to talk about the current situation of the company, their recent releases and the plans moving forward as we enter a new decade, sure to be filled with exciting news for this software provider.
GP: First of all, allow me to thank you for taking the time to talk to us at this time. We understand how busy you must be with your most recent release and your other business, so let’s get straight to asking some exciting questions. Since your brand new slot has just hit the market, can you tell us a bit about what we can expect from 777 Heist in terms of gameplay as well as visuals and effects? How did the idea for this slot come to be?
Nick: Many thanks for the opportunity to let your readers know more about Red Rake Gaming!
Sure, so 777Heist is our new 5x5 slot with cascading reels and focuses towards multiple features to keep players engaged giving them lots of opportunities to trigger additional wins. We have built 3 rewards in to the game, Collect all the artwork symbols – triggers the free game, Achieve wins with the work of art symbols – triggers up to 3 of the thief’s skills, hacking which replaces symbols with others, harness - drops 2 wild symbols and smoke bomb - removes 2 types of symbols from the reels. If players remove all the symbols from the reels they will trigger the free spin round.
777 Heist is a great looking slot designed to cater to the players from all over the globe. We appreciate that while the trend in the industry is to build high volatility slots, and we certainly have created a good number of highly volatile slots in the last months, we still think that many players are attracted to medium volatility slots that deliver an action packed experience.
GP: 777 Heist went live across a wide network of online casinos that serve numerous different audiences. Tell us a little more about the regulated markets in which Red Rake Gaming slots and other games are available? What licenses do you have and what does this mean for your business?
Nick: We are licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority, which are the most prestigious gaming regulatory bodies in the world, and our products and systems are certified to provide in many regulated markets like Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Italy, Romania and Belarus, which has been our latest regulated market entry.
Our regulated markets footprint is constantly expanding and is a key focus for Red Rake Gaming. We are committed to growing with our clients and ensure players can have the opportunity to immerse themselves within the Red Rake Gaming content regardless of where they are located. With this in mind we are continually looking at new markets and are proud of our regulated market reach thus far for such a young company in the industry .
GP: Speaking of coverage and licenses, what are your plans for the future? Does Red Rake Gaming have plans of moving beyond the markets you are currently serving and into USA or other regulated markets? How do you see the company in 5 or 10 years from now?
Nick: We are definitely going to increase our presence in more regulated markets. We recently received certification for our games to be delivered to Belarus, and we are constantly considering increasing our reach. Based on our growth rate and demand from operators we will be adding several new markets throughout the year. Watch this space.
About USA, we are definitely eyeing our entry there. We recently closed a social casino deal with a major player in the US land based gaming space which has just launched their online real money operation in a couple of states, and we hope to enter into the USA real money market sooner rather than later. Our games are certainly resonating well with players in the US shown by the incredible uptake we have seen from the social side so exciting times lie ahead.
GP: Your latest title has only just gone live, but we already know what the next game on your portfolio will be. Secrets of the Temple is launching soon and the visuals you have shown us thus far seem really promising. How much focus do you put in making every game visually unique and different to others? Is this something that Red Rake Gaming takes very seriously?
Nick: Definitely. For Red Rake Gaming, content is key, as today market’s is oversaturated with many games being released every week, operators can inundated with requests for launching games from the many suppliers, each wanting prime placement. With this in mind we put an enormous effort in creating a superior gaming and visual experience for players; a great game is comprises of many parts, and certainly visuals aren’t the most critical part for a game being successful, but it’s still a very important ingredient to make it appealing to the widest possible audience, so we make all efforts to make our games visually unique and immersive for players.
GP: Apart from the stunning visuals, Secrets of the Temple is also set to include some jackpots players can win. We all love winning a jackpot and this game will give 5 different opportunities for that. What kind of jackpots can we expect and how will they scale depending on our bet size? Is there an ultimate progressive jackpot?
The Jackpot prizes of Secrets of the Temple depend on the bet size, and the amounts vary from 10 times your bet (mini jackpot) to 300 times your bet (maxi jackpot). Its fixed jackpots within the game, so every spin gives the player the opportunity to win the prizes and the amounts are just dependent on the bet size of the spin. That being said, we have our new tournament tool due for release at the start of May which will allow our clients to create progressive jackpot tournaments, which, based on our clients feedback, will be a very welcome addition to the promotions that can be made for players by our clients.
GP: You have also just announced a partnership with PremierGaming, a Malta based company with a strong presence in Germany and Scandinavia. What will this deal mean for your two companies and what can we expect to see from it moving forward?
Nick: PremierGaming is operated by a group of industry veterans with a great track record in the iGaming business. We have worked together on some of their additional projects, so we expect great things coming from this partnership. The Red Rake Gaming content performs very well in PremierGaming’s key markets so we are very confident it will be a strong partnership and we are looking forward to working closely with their team.
