Fans of interesting poker games which come packed with simple mechanics will definitely appreciate what RCT Gaming did with its Gold Poker game. This is a Casino Hold’em variant, hence players compete against the house. The game follows the usual Casino Hold’em rules.
Graphics and Design
In terms of its looks, Gold Poker looks very simple packed with retro graphical solutions. The main game’s screen displays a massive poker table with playing cards situated in the middle of the table. The upper side of the screen is reserved for playing chips. Players can also easily access different betting options as they are neatly displayed on the main screen. All in all, the game looks very simple with no so many visual elements placed on the main screen. While this may sound like a disappointment, it can be handy for fans of hassle-free gaming sessions.
Gameplay
Gold Poker is played like any other Casino Hold’em game. It should be noted that the game is very similar to the game of Texas Hold’em Poker, but here players compete against the house, instead of competing against other players. Like in the majority of other poker games, players begin their gaming sessions by deciding on what they want to bet. In order to play their hands, players have to place a wager which are exactly 2x worth their ante bets. At this point, the game introduces three community cards which can players use to complete their five-card hands. The main goal is to have higher-valued cards when compared to the dealer’s cards.
