Gameplay

Booty Bay is played on 5 reels and offers cluster pays. So, players have to hit at least six identical symbols on adjacent positions (vertically or horizontally). The paytable of this release includes nine basic symbols: three coins made of bronze, silver, and gold, a spyglass, a compass, a mug, a pirate with a green bandana, a female pirate, and a pirate captain.

We also have a treasure chest here, and it acts as a booty wild icon. It replaces all basic symbols in this game. The good thing is that the wild icon features a multiplier that’s applied to winning combos. The middle 3x3 positions on the matrix act as a Hotzone. It activates unlimited respins whenever you land one or more wilds there. When this happens, the wild icon will start moving. If it’s still inside the zone, the multiplier will increase by one.

When you hit the locking wild icon on the matrix, you will activate the locking wilds feature. You can expect all booty wild icons in the hotzone to turn into locked wilds for three respins. Next, hitting the swirling rapids icons on the matrix will activate the swirling rapids feature, where you get a re-spin. Every unlocked booty wild icon is moved to a random position in the hotzone during this round.
