    Gonzo's Quest is one of the best known and most beloved NetEnt slots. With a real historical background, telling a story of well-known Spanish conquistador Gonzo Pizzaro, this game stands out with its amazing 3D graphics, an exciting bonus feature, and plenty of funny animations accompanying the players as they spin the reels. 

    During ICE 2018, NetEnt announced that it will release a Virtual Reality version of Gonzo's Quest in the summer of that year, dubbed Gonzo's Quest VR.

    Graphics & Theme

    Gonzo's Quest takes players to the entrance of an Inca temple surrounded with a veil of mystery. Gonzo, the titular character, stands in front of the reels, celebrating all the big wins and occasionally doing some funny things and producing hilarious sounds, helping to produce an excellent gaming experience.

    All the symbols are different Inca stone carvings, representing various animals and human faces, with a special, easily recognizable golden mask serving as a bonus symbol. With birds chirping in the background and water poruing on the side of the temple, players get a true feeling of being deep inside the jungle of Central America.

    Gameplay

    Gonzo's Quest main feature is the Avalanche. Every time there is a winning combination on the reels, symbols in the combination will explode and new ones will fall down. If they line up to create a new combination, they'll explode again and the Avalanche will continue. With every successful Avalanche, the win multiplier increases, up to a maximum of 5x.

    The bonus feature is triggered when three golden mask symbols line up on one of 20 available paylines. When this happens, you'll be taken to a bonus game with 10 Free Spins. Everything is pretty much the same as in the base game, except for the fact that all wins are multiplied by 3x, increasing with every Avalanche, and going all the way up to 15x.

    This game is one of my favorites, especially for the plot of this game, since it is based on the historical character Gonzalo Pizzaro, a true Spanish conqueror, Gonzo's Quest presents an animated and three-dimensional version of the explorer who goes to look for Eldorado , the fictional city of lost gold.

    The game begins with a brief but entertaining animated film that introduces you to the story of Gonzo, where he jumps off the ship to go get gold on his own. After the video, they throw you directly into the game of 5 reels and 20 pay lines, and Gonzo takes his place to the left of the screen, where he watches and waits to see how much gold you earn for him.
    The screen is represented, with an Inca temple in the background, lots of vegetation and a water fountain coming out of a face carved in stone. The background noises make you feel like you are really in a Central American jungle, and when the symbols fall, it sounds like real stones falling.

    Maybe the most famous casino game in the world... and for a good reasons!

    Easy to play, good to watch, even if you loose (never bet what you can't loose) it's a pleasure to play with this game!

    It is a game that gives you the chance to win up to 5 times what you win in a roll, if you eliminate the figures in the same roll you can quintuple your win. Excellent game, also that has a different dynamic to all games.

    Gonzo's Quest is a very extensive slot from NetEnt. It was released several years before. Its subject is the Aztec evolution. Gonzo's quest has an actual pleasant intro, one of the premium from this provider. The graphic of the game is too elegant and I continually laugh from the animation, sounds as well as dancing of the crazy Gonzo standup next to the reels. What I consider to be the robust side of this game is animations. Use the “Bet Level” plus “Coin Value” switches to adjust your gamble, then hit the round button in the mid to begin the falling off the blocks.

    Had a lot of fun playing this slot game, love the spanish exploration theme and the sweet animations, thumbs up! Free Spins are big YES for this one, they are all over the place.

    One of the more popular Online Slots games probably because the awesome animations and Free Spins amount...

    The Free Falls Bonus feature is super fun and to trigger it you'll need 3 Free Fall Scatter symbols on three consecutive reels. With every win the multiplier value goes up and that gives you a chance to watch Gonzo dance and even does a moonwalk!

    Yeah, Gonzo's Quest, NetEnt's classic. I've dabbled with it my fair share, can't say that I love it (just because it never paid me big), but all in all it is really nice graphics and chasing those bonus rounds is always exciting. Plus, the potential for a really big win is always there, you just need a bit of luck. Definitely one of the five-star classics.
