The gameplay of the Grim Muerto slot revolves around the Guitar Wild symbol, which appears randomly on any of the five reels. On every spin in base game, one reel is highlighted as a part of the Marco Siniestro feature, which causes any Wild symbol on that reel to expand to all three slots on that reel.

Once a player is able to stop three Book symbols on the reels, 10 free spins are triggered.
