Graphics & Theme
In this slot game, you will become familiar with the so-called heart turbine, a Perpetuum mobile-style engine that creates electric power for the Network. The Network on the other hand is crucial for the survival of the robot race that rules this world. As previously mentioned, this game has advanced visual elements including cartoonish icons in striking colors, a set of reels that are moving around, and a view of an unusual, futuristic engine room in the background.
Gameplay
Twisted Turbine has 5 reels and offers 225 ways to win. What’s interesting is that this matrix is separated in two (one for each robot) and they can rotate the reels. Each robot that moves the turbine has its color and paytable. The blue one has a nut (fastener), a battery, a lightning bolt, and a blue robot head while the red one has the same things in red color plus a flame instead of a lightning bolt. In any case, you’ll have to wait to land three or more matching symbols on consecutive reels to win a reward.
This game features cascading wins where winning icons are replaced with new ones. Additionally, wins with specific symbols are counted and once the suitable meter is filled, the Twisted Turbine feature becomes active. It will turn the matrix by 180 degrees and provide access to an increased win multiplier. The golden W sign is a wild that replaces missing standard symbols. Also, if you land three scatters on the reels, you will trigger up to 15 Free Spins where the aforementioned multipliers are boosted.
