Arcade1Up Launches Wheel of Fortune Casinocade in 2023

When it comes to engaging the online casino community, game developers are not shy to delve deep into our wonder years to drive interest in their latest titles. This clever use of nostalgia bias to attract players has led to online slot games based on retro television shows, genre-defining musicians, and arcade games.

There was an enormous amount of hype surrounding the release of Netent's official Street Fighter II: The World Warrior slot machine in 2020. Not only did they have the license to use the characters from the game, but also the official sound bites. They even went so far as to set the reels against in-game backdrops and built special features around bonus rounds from the 1991 arcade game.

However, the process was often too daunting for the home enthusiast without access to a cabinet builder and a reasonable understanding of the inner workings of an arcade machine.

This added touch allowed them to tap into one of the most tools in any salesperson’s arsenal, buyer nostalgia. 

Time to Flip the Script

While we have seen software developers bring brands and IPs from our daily lives into the casino space, we rarely see the reverse take place. Arcade1Up is looking to change that in 2023 by announcing the release of its first-ever "At-Home Casino Gaming Experience”.

The company’s inaugural home casino system will be called the Wheel of Fortune Casinocade Deluxe and feature “four slot game versions of Wheel of Fortune and more than 21 other casino and popular games”.

Staying true to the Las Vegas experience, the slot games included in the deluxe Casinocade offer casino-ready reel action, high-fidelity sound, and a range of bonus features, including free spins. The other twenty-one games will include well-known table games like blackjack and the popular Asian tile game Mahjong. Each will be played according to established casino rules to immerse you in the experience.
