Overview

50 Dragons by Aristocrat Gaming is an online slot themed around Asian traditions and culture. There's only one dragon in the game, despite the name, as actually 50 refers to the number of paylines, not the number of dragons.

Graphics & Theme

The graphics are very well adjusted to the Asian theme. The design is not that outstanding, but overall it is nice. The background could be more engaging, though.

As an Asian-themed slot, 50 Dragons has some symbols of Chinese zodiac, such as fish, tiger, rooster, and, of course, dragon. There could have been more zodiac symbols in the game, but, for some reason, its creators decided just to put the card letter symbols that you can find in almost every slot out there.

Gameplay & Features

The gameplay in 50 Dragons is quite intuitive, with all the buttons you need located in the bottom of the screen; there is also a version with traditional Aristocrat 'Play' button instead of Spin, but at any rate you can also set a number of autospins you want to play, and adjust your stake easily.

Feature-wise, the 50 Dragons slot has a wild symbol, which is a pearl, and a scatter symbol - an ingot. You will want to land as many ingots on the reels as you can, but, sadly, they only appear on reels 1, 2, and 3. Still,  ingots will give you a free spin round, which is great, as you get 10 freebies with a chance to win 5 more. During free spins, a wild pearl will be added to each reel (except 1) during each round, and will become sticky, i.e. remain there until all free spins have been played.
