Overall, the Babushka theme is purely Russian, and the bear symbol confirms it as well.

Gameplay & Features

At first sight, Babushkas seems to be a very simple and straightforward slot, but in fact it has some interesting and even complex things to offer. First, all winning symbols can be upgraded if this creates a longer winning combination. Second, there are two wild symbols: the regular one and the one with a star. Both appear only on reel 3, but in case you get the one with a star, you are lucky, as this triggers one of the features. There are three features in total, and they include extra symbol upgrades and free spins with a wild constantly stuck to reel 3. All these features are triggered by the bear symbol.

Overall, Babushkas is a great slot, its only drawback, perhaps, being very boring music, which is supposed to be Russian but in fact sounds like just a few notes put together and repeated many times.
