Graphics & Theme

This online slot was inspired by the battle of Acre, a city in the Middle East that is known as the last stronghold of Crusaders in their war against Mamluks. The crusaders were led by the English King Edward. In terms of graphics, this is an interesting slot because it features polished symbols in unique colors and a view of the battlefield around the fort.

Gameplay  

Crusader is equipped with 5 reels and has 26 paylines. There are nine basic symbols in the slot game including three different shields with unique crosses on them, three playing card symbols, a dagger, a treasure chest with a cross on it and a chalice. Every combination that includes three or more identical symbols on a payline will provide a prize.

There is a red cross and a wild sign on it and that’s the wild symbol in this game. The wild symbol replaces all regular symbols found in Crusader. There’s a crusader symbol too and this is also a wild symbol. A partial hit of this symbol activates respins until the symbol has nudged into full view. If you land two expanded Crusaders on the reels, you will activate free spins. Players can also find an expansion symbol that expands all the reels upwards (a maximum of 12 rows).
