Gameplay
Mystic Staxx is equipped with an 8x6 grid and 40 paylines. There are nine regular icons in this release: lanterns in green, purple, blue, and red colors, as well as a single lucky coin and groups of these coins. You’ll need three or more matching icons on a payline to get paid.
In the beginning, the symbols on the matrix appear in stacks of two. Players can hit a 3x3 expand icon on the reels. When something like this appears, all symbol stacks grow by one symbol. The stacks will keep increasing with every new appearance of the expand icon. There’s a maximum stack size of 20 in this game. At this point, the big expand icon will become a 3x3 wild icon that can appear anywhere in view. Of course, the wild icon substitutes for all missing regular icons.
