Once you start the game, you will see a very beautiful intro showing Ancient Egypt and its famous symbols: the Pyramids and the pharaohs. Then the narrator will tell you about an archaeologist, Vanessa, who is going to explore the ancient buildings in order to find a way to open the pharaoh's sarcophagus, the one that holds old and very rich treasures. The graphics of the intro look very nice, especially for a slot game, so we recommend you not skipping it. The design of the slot itself is not very impressive, though, with the symbols and images looking too cartoonish.

Gameplay & Features

The Explorer's Quest slot is kind of unique, as it features a 9-reel setup. The center reel is shared between the two minor setups, and all wins are paid out right to left and left to right. The sarcophagus symbol may appear on reels 1, 5, and 9, and if you get 3 of them, you will be awarded with a random number of free spins (with the maximum of 20). Note that free spins may be re-triggered multiple times, meaning that, in theory, they could be infinite. You also have a treasure bonus, which is a standard pick and click.
