Rocket Men Online Slot
One of the most controversial Online Slots available at selected online casinos right now is the Rocket Men slot.
Created by Red Tiger Gaming, the slot pokes fun at the ridiculous rivalry between US President Donal Trump and Kim Jong Un of North Korea.
After much back and forth via social media, the slot portrays how the two world leaders spend their time and often threaten to use their "red buttons".
The most controversial features found during the Rocket Men slot are the bonus games. Kim's Little Game consists of nuclear bombs flying through the air while Don's Driving Range shows off Trump's love for the gold range.
Filled with hilarious hints that will also cause a world of controversy, this slot is still available to play at Red Tiger Gaming casinos!
Jackpot Win is an Error
In 2016, an excited visitor at the Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, Queens posted a selfie stating that she had won a whopping $42,949,672!
A short while later, when attempting to cash in on her big win, the disappointed punter was informed that her win was an error.
Stated as being a machine malfunction, the heartbroken woman explained that she had grown up poor and was hoping to finally change her life for the better. Unfortunately, this casino mishap was not to be rectified. Instead, the casino offered to pay her $2.25 and a steak dinner.
Shared on social media, the case was taken on by an attorney who fought for the winner's right to be paid out a minimum of $6500 at the very least.
Betting on Death
Both TigerGaming and Paddy Power have come under fire in recent years due to their controversial ads.
Paddy Power's banned ad showed two old ladies attempting to cross a road while an oncoming truck approached. As the car draws closer, the ad shows odds above their heads in bubbles.
Not much else is said during the ad but it was seen as in poor taste and quickly removed.
Similarly, TigerGaming had an ad removed when a group of heartbroken women place bets on the chances of a dying man passing away in a hospital.
The ad ends with everyone cheering as the man dies on the hospital bed and the tagline "You win some, you lose some" appears on the screen.
Poker Machine Bug Loses Casinos Thousands
In 2009, an avid video poker player by the name of John Kane uncovered a bug on the Game King poker machine which he used to his advantage.
After discovering the fact that you could change your betting amount after you've started playing, the player used this and changed his bets from low to high as it suited him.
Before long, Kane had roped in a friend to do the same thing and the duo quickly 'won' thousands of dollars in Las Vegas from various casinos before they were caught.
Sexy Ads Banned
The old adage says that sex sells but even the casino industry has its limits.
Ads by both William Hill and Full Tilt have been banned in the past due to been deemed too raunchy.
While William Hill's ad simply panned down a woman's body, the Full Tilt ad had Phil Ivey practising his best poker face while multiple men 'visited' his wife.
Crazy or funny? The powers that be decided that these ads were definitely not safe for all viewers.
