Interview with Josh Tromans-Jones - CTO at Jada Gaming

Today, GamblersPick had a chance to talk to Josh Tromans-Jones, the CTO at Jada Gaming , an innovative software company with an eye on optimizing the marketing operations of iGaming operators.
GP: Hello and thank you for taking the time to talk to us. We appreciate the opportunity to introduce our readers to your innovative technologies and concepts, so without further ado, let’s start with some simple questions. Your company was founded by Alberto Alfieri and yourself. Can you please quickly introduce these two innovators and tell our readers how they came up with the idea for Jada Gaming?
Josh: My business partner, Alberto Alfieri, and I launched Jada Gaming in 2020. Alberto has more than 12 years’ iGaming and sports betting experience where he’s held executive positions at several leading European operators. Those years shaped Alberto’s expertise in identifying areas of potential growth by analyzing market trends and understanding customer requirements and behavior.
My background is also rooted in the iGaming industry - covering both the operator and affiliate side. A core focus for me has been leading business intelligence and analytics teams in my capacity as CIO and CTO for a number of top gaming companies. I’m passionate about improving business visibility into operations by improving reporting, data visualisation and data processing, as well as the use of analytics and techniques such as machine learning to solve complex business problems.
Our work in these key areas and understanding market needs was the catalyst for our Jada Gaming solution.
GP: Jada Gaming is all about using artificial intelligence to improve the user experience and the bottom line for the operators. Can you please introduce your Jada Brain product and explain the ways in which it helps operators run their businesses and increase their ROI?
Josh: Our Jada Brain is a full data, end-to-end platform that uses both AI and Machine Learning to solve business issues faced by operators and affiliates. A major part of that is its ability to present the information in a way that allows operators to truly visualize data with clarity.
The platform utilises modern infrastructure, with independently and easily configurable modules that allow it to integrate quickly with operators. This seamless and rapid integration means operators can scale at a pace they wish.
Giving operators power over their data means they can optimize marketing spend for affiliation optimization and VIP identification, while it also increases operational efficiency for elements like chat analysis. As each element that the Jada Brain solution addresses is bettered and therefore ROI increases.
GP: We can see how Jada Brain helps the operators by making it easier to run their business and improving their ROI. Do players also benefit from playing with operators who are using Jada Brain? In what way can an individual player hope to have their experience improved?
Josh: Jada Brain was also designed with the player front-of-mind. The solution gives operators the capability to list games categorized by each client based on a machine learning algorithm that analyses their game patterns. Operators can then use this data for manual campaigns, integrated into CRM tools or for operators’ front end.
Jada Brain works to protect players through its Responsible Gambling module. Its powerful algorithm determines a player’s risk of becoming a problem gambler and assigns an appropriate rating so operators can act before the game becomes harmful. Every piece of data is anonymised to strictly adhere to data privacy policy.GP: Can you talk about some results and numbers so far? How has Jada Brain done so far and what are some of the clients who use it, if you are free to discuss it? What kind of improvements have the operators seen from using the solution?
Josh: Results have been incredibly encouraging since launch. Partner operators who have implemented our algorithm have seen a significant rise in revenues thanks to multi-million Euro marketing optimisation. Hundreds and thousands of pounds have been saved in cost base reductions.
GP: What is next for Jada Gaming? Are there some big plans for the coming years that you are ready to talk about? Do you plan on making your current product even more sophisticated or possiblyintroducing new innovative products in the future?
Josh: We have recently launched a new tool for affiliates that we know will significantly improve the way many of them do business. Our focus is ensuring our operator and affiliate offering is delivering for our partners. Jada Brain’s influence increases as each of our clients’ results strengthen and we love that we’re part of those successes.
Work will continue on enhancing our existing product as we innovate and utilise the data gathered. We’re always evaluating our algorithms and identifying areas where we can enrich user experiences. Learning through testing and listening to our clients means we’re perfectly placed to help with supporting businesses deliver on their strategies.
